I think they could be a little cheaper, but it is not stopping me from wanting to go. It will be awsome seeing all of those great athletes there.

A tip to newcomers to Mohegan...When the contest ends, if you go down to the main forum and wait, alot of the strongman come back out and take pictures, talk, etc, etc....This is how I got all my pictures with Pudz, Jesse, Mark Felix, Odd Haugen, etc, etc....

What I love about strongman is how amazing the athletes are and down to earth. No other sport are the athletes so humble IMO. Maybe we can get a group of people going to meet up down there have some food first at Johnny Rockets or something?? Or gamble LOL

And the TPS logo will be proud on display on the atlas stones. Lets hope all the stones I made hold up:) lol

Nice job on those stone's Mike! I hadnt been by TPS in a while and i pulled up the other day and saw all of these brand new stones and I got wicked excited thinking that we have new stones to train with.... of course they are being used at the super series but hopefully you guys will bring em back to TPS afterwards.... thats gonna be good publicity for the gym.

Wesley, glad to hear that your gonna be there.....You better put on some weight though! last year there was a over 200lb weight limit to get in :N: . I will most likely be there with my fiance'e and whoever else that wants to be dragged along.

Claire, Matt's right, you might want to try elsewhere...I have stayed at Mohegan several time and while the hotel is beyond amazing...a friday or saturday night rate is usually somewhere around $400 dollars per night...Might want to look elsewhere unless you are loaded.

Definently wanna meet up with you guys down there...We need a strong group for the Americans. Canada and Poland usually have us blown away with support....not that that's bad, but I think we owe it to our own athletes...

LOL@Matt's comment...I might weight 200.5 if I eat like 20x per day, so I might get in LMAO :)

Can't wait to meet up with you guys, anyone not from the area need help with accomodations or directions, clubs/bars info, etc, etc...feel free to PM me.

Hi guys,

Sorry I haven´t checked in for a while!

Ticket release was delayed for a while but on Dec. 4 you can get them via www.mohegansun.com or www.ticketmaster.com

We will have a meet n greet as always, probably 10 to 15 minutes after the show. We are also working on some new features in the events - not messing with them just trying to get more head to head events.

The contest starts at 7 pm and doors open at 6. If you live near by or plan to spend the weekend, make sure you don´t miss the IronMind Rolling Thunder World Championship on the Friday. We haven´t set a time yet but it´ll most likely happen after the athletes´ meeting which would take us to around 8 pm.
