That other one you guys had out in AZ was probably the widest yoke I have ever seen... looked like a soccer goal.

Have you been diagnosed with any physical abnormalities or anything in the past?

If it is a sharp pain then the best advice is to stop, it is your body's signal that something is not right.

Have you ever tried shoe inserts? I know those help a lot of guys.

Also - does this happen with all weights or only when going heavy?

Would say the best advice is if something hurts, don't do it - either go to a doctor or try things out until you figure out the problem and can correct it.

no never been dignosed with anything usually thay are good no pain but its just with the yoke and only when going heavy lighter weight its ok, the pain is not very sharp but still enough to where my knees just give out its very frustrateing do u guys think close stand squats and maybe leg press to strengthen around my knees will work??? thank u all for ur help

Don't want to hijack the thread from "That other Pro from AZ" but:

Anton, come on up so we can watch you do a yoke. W/ your dl strength (not sure what your squat is)...I find it hard to believe it would be a strength issue. Maybe your technique is off or something. Hopefully we can help, we are not strong, but....we are semi-well read and semi-knowledgeable w/ technique stuff.

see ya
