Just so you guys know, not a day goes by that I don't think about you guys and Jesse...every single person on this site and in this "sport" should all say a "Thank You" prayer to Jesse--> w/o him this board and strongman in general wouldn't be what it is today w/o what Jesse did on this planet...keep that in mind next time you're about to lift what you think is unliftable or do something you think is impossible...after meeting Jesse in Missoula back in 2001 he never stopped amazing me and many others all over the globe...

Sometimes when I'm crashing at the end of an event or a tough set and I'm questioning in my head whether I've got enough inside to finish, I think "WWJD?"- What would Jesse do? It's not a conscious thing; it just happens. It reminds me that he gave it all to finish, so I have no excuse not to. I push through every time.

Man talk about the work of a higher power.
I've been thinking about how much I miss Jesse.
Seeing him on TV, reading about him in the mags, and seeing him post here.
I can't even begin to imagine how hard this is for Callie, the kids, and Jesse's Mom and Dad but I met Jesse one time but he made quite an impression and me and both my kids really enjoyed the time he took to talk to us and sign autographs.
I just wish I would have had my camera with me.
The world lost not only a great strongman, husband, son, and father they lost a great person who took time to make everyone feel good when they were in his presence.

Well said Corey...
Knowing Jesse has forever changed me in ways I thought I already was well beyond. I, too, think of him daily and reading this forum reassures me that his strength has affected so many. The world is a better place for him...
I thought I was the only one who did the "WWJD" thing! Right there with ya brother!

Meeting and talking with Jesse @WSM 06' is the SOLE reason that I am a strongman. If it weren't for him, Id be missing out on a big part of what is now my life. I remember seeing baby JJ pictures and being a new father I could see on his face the love you feel for your newborn, can't hide that.
I feel that the community here he built is amazing, and will turn out to benefit people for years to come. Callie and Baby JJ have so much to be proud of, and Jesse will always be remembered.
