The Platinum Plus contests for open Heavyweight will be Hawaii (March), Iowa (June), and South Carolina (September).

Can anyone give me the exact dates that these contests will be (more specifically HI)? Would like to save as much as possible on tickets by getting them well in advance.

I assure you that Hawaii will be on March 8th.
This will be in Honolulu, HI.

Its a one day show.
The Hawaii's Strongest Teen will also be held in conjunction with the Platinum Plus. They are just going to combine the teens with the big boys.

Powerhouse Gym is the new sponsor, and they are having the contest in front of their gym. The street will be blocked off in front of the gym, and the contest will be part of their grand opening.

Its shaping up to be a huge block party as well. A few local bands are playing too.

Please call the promoter, Malcolm Lutu, if you have any ??'s His contact info is on the NAS website.
I know that the entry form is not up yet, but the date is a guarantee.

I bought my ticket for only $257 roundtrip on Hawaiian Airlines from Seattle. FYI

That's what I envy about you guys on the west coast. Such flights are usually more expensive when coming from the Midwest.

Well, HI and IA are only offering HW cards anyway. I'm just a lil fella in the LW division.

I understand, but sometimes we get high airfares going to the East Coast too.

Hawaii is the week before the ASC qualifier in Columbia, South Carolina. I am thinking of doing both shows back to back, but last time I checked, its almost $550 to fly to Columbia from Seattle.

The weekend makes a difference too. My family and I have to go back to Hawaii for a wedding on Easter weekend, and our tickets were $602 each. Big difference from the $257 I paid for Hawaii's Strongest Man, 2 weeks prior to Easter.
