k i would like to compete, but i never hear of any competitions in Arkansas. I'm thinking i'll have to go out of state to compete. I'm not too worried about it right now because i don't think i'm strong enough to be in a comp right now.

Kansas isn't too bad of a drive. Maybe Iowa too. I'm in the same boat, both strength wise and contest distance

No nothing in Arkansas. But MO, KS, OK, TN, TX, LA, IL all have contests.

Depending on how far away in Arkansas you are the DFW area puts some on throughout the year.
