Did they raise the prices on these? I thought they used to be $70...

Tom, I think the price increase is due to the fact that they're carrying a different shoe. The old shoes looked nothing like these. In fact, these new shoes look idectical to my Do-Wins, minus the Do-Win logo. If they're the same shoe, then this is a really good price.

I am wanting to get a pair but am curious as to how the sizing runs. Similar to tennis shoes or chucks or dress shoes? anyone have some thoughts on this. I would like to get them the correct size. I assume you want these fairly snug as well.

I'd clarify it even further regarding the chucks... It seems that the new pairs are running on the large side. I am a size 12 for all my shoes and sneakers (including Chuck Taylors historically). the last two times that I have purchased them, I have had to get an 11 as they were swimming on me. Mike Westerling had to exchange a pair of 11's (his normal size) for a 10. I'm interested in buying a pair too but do not want the hassle of having to return them due to improper fitting.

When I ordered my Do-Wins (which I believe are the same shoes) from Glenn Pendlay, all he did was ask my regular shoe size. I told him I wear an 11 and I have wide feet. He sent me a 10, and they fit perfectly.
Tom Mutaffis,
I tried to reply to your PM but your PM box was full. So, I hope this answers your question.

I just went to Glenn Pendlay's website and found the Do-Wins. Here's a link to the new model http://store.wfwclub.com/shoes.html
Thos VS Athletics are definitely the old model Do-Wins which are the ones I have. I've been wearing them 5x a week for the last year n a half, and they're still holding up.

I ordered a pair a couple weeks ago, I ordered half a size to small as that is what I read fits best and they fit perfect.

I love how quickly this thread appeared. It's like we have a meathead phone email list going on...
The other day they were charging $.50 for chicken breasts at buffalo wild wings, as soon as we figured it out 2 of the guys I was with started calling everyone we knew that lifted weights, within 20 minutes we had a table of 10...
My Do-Wins are still holding up nicely, but I do like the heads up...
