Also, Magnus Samuelsson is the first athlete out on the line up!

What is the date for this contest? Sounds like a good reason to take a trip up North...

Billy,
Thanks for asking!
Truth is we could use extra hands but with the venue being MSG we are not allowed to bring in any extra crew members other than those on staff. Don't get me wrong, they are superb partners but the security measures are very extensive.
Are you residing close to NYC? We are planning many different events in the city prior to the show. I'll keep you guys posted.

The date is June 21st. Sadly I think it clashes with ASM. A trip up North will def. be worth it Tom!

Does this have any impact on whether or not there will be an event at Seni in April Jesper? Still no news on that as far as I can see.

Jon,
Sorry if you missed the previous thread about Seni. Our partners where not able to secure the financing we needed to make it happen this year. We have our eyes set on the Seni next year instead. We are currently looking into having another GP in Europe and we'll be coming back with more info on that in a short while.
For the record I am very disappointed that we are not staging a show in the UK this year so we'll work extra hard for that to happen next year.

</td> </tr> <tr> <td class="bodytext">It’s “the world’s most famous arena,” so wouldn’t you expect strongmen of the same stature when the Eleiko WSM Super Series comes to Madison Square Garden on June 21?
How’s this for big names for the center-stage arena? Getting the ball rolling, IronMind has been told, officially, that Magnus Samuelsson and Hugo Girard will be competing. Samuelsson is a World’s Strongest Man winner who is also known as having the world’s strongest arms, which include hands that have been certified on the Captains of Crush® No. 3 and No. 4 grippers; and Girard is a former world record holder on the Apollon’s Axle, as well as as a past Super Series champion and Canada’s Strongest Man winner.
Three more World’s Strongest Man winners will also be on hand, as Jouko Ahola, Svend Karlsen, and Philip Pfister will be working in various capacities, and while we have yet to confirm it, there is a rumor that the vivacious Lene Karlsen might be available to autograph copies of MILO for her fans.
Ulf Bengtsson, founder and president of World Class Enterprises, which organizes the World's Strongest Man Super Series, told IronMind, “This is nothing but an amazing opportunity for the sport of strongman. [This is] an extraordinary step towards achieving high-end exposure of the athletes and the Super Series tour. Personally, I can't wait to take my seat and see the action take place.”
And so that you can plan to be there too, IronMind has just received the ticket information:
Tickets will go on sale next Wednesday, but Madison Square Garden and WSMSS are launching a pre-sale on Monday at noon. All fans are welcome to visit Ticketmaster or the Madison Square Garden site and use the promo code HP Strong.
This should be awesome! Hugo and Magnus along with all the others. Looks to be an awesome show.

Not that I have the $ for this show, but this price is actually reasonable, considering how much everything else costs in the city. And this is the chance of a lifetime, and I think having it at MSG will propel our sport even higher!

The ticket price had to come up as we are dealing with a budget that supersedes anything we have dealt with before. This being put on in NYC makes it hard for us to negotiate beneficial deals with those supplying production services for the event.
I appreciate your feedback on this as always!

Jesper,
What seating chart are we supposed to go by?
They WaMu page on TM offers the following setups
Boxing
Circus Soleil
Runway
Endstage
Which setup are you using. The Circus Soleil seems like the right one, but just want to make sure. Also, I searched for $150 tickets (seating in 100 section) and it does not come up with anything. That makes me believe even more that the setup you are using does not have section 100 seating just like the Circus Soleil setup. However, premium seats are shown in the picture for that setup....are there premium seats available?
Thanks!

Garrick,
Thanks for the note. I have just spoken to MSG and we will have the seating chart for the event up shortly. That will give you a better idea of where the $150 and $100 are located.
Thanks,
Jesper

I like to support strength sports, but that is too much $ in my opinion.
*EDIT* My bad, I did not see that there are tickets for $50. I'll be ordering tonight.
