Grand Opening- Training Facility Powerhouse Gym

Everybody is cordially invited to the Grand Opening Celebration of Powerhouse Gym in Rancho Cordova (Sacramento) CA, on June 7, 2008,

Keith Saunders, competitive strongman and member of Team Big Sac is opening up what will be one of the premier training facilitites in CA.

On June 7, Pro Strongman Nick Best will be putting on a demo. Ken Shamrock and Vernon White of UFC fame will be on hand, along with pro bodybuilders and others. In fact, rumor has it that the one and only Team Big Sac will be in attendance. :)

The gym is huge with approx. 1800 square feet dedictated to strongman equipment and training. We will post up a full list of equipment later.

There will be a full complement of strongman equipment, several sets of oly bumper plates, plenty of power racks, etc etc etc. Rumor has it a Monolift is also in the works.

More info later, For now, let everyone know they are welcome to come by and check out the facility. (We are also looking at putting a contest together for October of this year, but that's another thread).

Sounds like a blast - wish I could make it along. I'll look forward to training there the next time I'm over. I've decided to do a small comp here in 2 weeks time - life in the old dog yet!
