Back in the day there were great energy supplements like Thermadrene and Ultimate Orange. Now that the FDAs pulled ephedrine off the shelves, I was just wondering if there was any legitimate products that give the same rush as the stuff we used to be able to get. Also what's the 'ingredient of the day' that's being used in the products that actually work? Thanks

IMO opinion, nothing works like a well planned and executed food intake regime. The rebound that occurs from weight loss products is hard on the body physically and emotionally. The best part about natural weight loss is it's permanent, REAL loss. And, you know you did the work yourself which makes it that much more exciting.
But to anwser your question, since ephedra was dropped, I don't know what the next big thing is.

Since the ephedra ban it seems like all the products are a dime a dozen.. A good bet is to buy the middle priced itmes. Ofcourse diet and cardio play more of a role then the fat burner, inmy opinion..... If your lookinf for the caffine buzz try an quad shot americano.. It will really get you moving... There is also a new company that sells coffe with fat burners in it.. www.javalution.com it is a little pricey, but you get all you need in the drink...

I'm in full agreement with you Jesse. I've been engaged in a natural, balanced lifestyle all of my life. I was interested more in an occasional booster for my workouts and/or competition when the time comes. I found that some of the supps I took forced me to better focus my attention on the lift and "enrage" me pushing me to lift with more intensity. Since caffeine use induces brachycardia, and cardiovascular fitness is a large part of my training regime, coffee and caffeine supps. just won't work. Just curious to hear about the latest greatest to sharpen an edge.

you ever try dymatadrine extreme? man that stuff was wicked! I used to take it for saturday's workouts when I was playing ball. in the offseason I would go in for an extra lift day on Saturdays and try to blow up big PRs. I was usually wiped out from staying up most or all of the night. I'd pop 2 of those babies and freak out for like 2 hours. scary stuff, I'm lucky I didn't blow my heart up.

Totally remember all of that. I was competing in the best Ranger competition a few years ago and wanted to go into it energized, so I popped 1 or 2 over what I usually used for my workouts and chugged it down with some Ultimate Orange; I was so lit (shaking, sweaty, heart palpitations) that I had to just lay down on the ground for 2 hours before the comp. started because I was afraid of having an attack. I looked like Chris Kattan in Corky Romano after the coke bag exploded in his face (minus the powder). During the comp., I did great on the labor intensive areas like the running, road march and the obstacle course but totally blew on the skilled portions like marksmanship (and I had multiple expert badges- rifle, pistol etc.- and sniper school), land nav. etc. It's been moderation and balance ever since. Ohmmm.

The original Ultimate Orange was brutal. The other good one was Synteburn by Synthetek Industries. Damn, that stuff was brutal. One capsule in the morning and you were flying high until noon.
