View Full Version : My Daughter Qualified for Nationals

My daughter Trudy, had a qualifying meet in Olympic Lifting Saturday.

she now is officially qualified for Schoolage Nationals in Orlando. She hit a 11kg PR on her total. Her first meet a month ago she hit 89kg as her total...she hit a 45kg snatch and a 55kg C&J as her finals. ....

Daddy is very proud....
she has alot of work to do on her technique..especially the clean (she powers it up now)

Again, Jalaine Ulsh was a big help and has really made trudy come to enjoy the sport.

Awesome. An 11kg PR over a month is huge, especially at her age. Weren't those PR's she hit in that meet to?

Awesome.I wish I would have had been given the bug to start lifting earlier in life!Sounds like not only does she have the bug she is running with it.

being it was her first meet a month ago...that was her benchmark ...

sounds like she is getting more and more serious about this. That's great Barry. Did you and her watch the womans olympic qualifier?
