Can anyone give me recommendations on lat training? I'm good at deads and rows but I need some advice for pulldown/chin movements, both for mass and to prevent a muscle imbalance. I've never been able to find a groove with them. I'm 18, 6'3" and 240, with long limbs if that matters. Jesse, I just saw your 20 rep squat workout with 405, my best 20 rep was 245, you're my hero, I want to lift like you when I get older.

If you have a lot of rows already in your regiment id maybe throw in some chin ups/pull ups..if they are to easy with BW do them weighted. My back has been growing/getting stronger off of doing chin ups/ pull ups varying grips and different tempos. Also we do rope climbs which also have been helping my overall back / upper body strength. Hope this helps - Jon

Hey Frederick! Run a search in the training forum on "lats" and you should find a thread all about chins and pull ups. Read that one and if you still have some questions holla back.

My middle name is Dawson, and my son's name is Dawson by the way. Pretyy close to your last name...
