Hi,
I just wanted to know if anyone tried this "sytem".
I recently bought the book "Maximum Muscle, Minimum Fat" I think its more about the facts of dieting eating and waht happens when you undereat or overeat or anything else.
I did not read to much yet (time...) and for me the book is not to easy to understand (german ) so I have to work through it what coast a lot of time.

What I think, the Warrior Diet is more about applying the different types especially the principlies of undereating and overeating so I don`t know if its worse the money and if its just another "diet system" that is designed for the normal person and not for a strongman or weightlifter.
So I just wanted to know if anyone read the book and maybe tried it out (experiences).
So does it work, is it worse a buy or not?

Tobias

Edit: Do you know any other good books about nutrition? What can you recommend to buy?

hey Tobias, i haven't seen the diet you speak of.. but a lot of books out there are for bodybuilding.. which is cool but might not be best for strongman. I know john parillo makes some good books. I think a diet full of good carbs healthy fats and protien would do you best.. try and stay away from diets that tell you to avoid carbs.. you need em to be STRONG

Hallo ist mein Deutsch das gut nicht. Ich hoffe, dass ich Ihnen helfen kann. Bitte lassen Sie mich wissen. Wo leben Sie jetzt? I have not heard of this diet. From what you say it doesn't sound that great to me. But I really dont know. I do speak german (I am a little rusty) so I might be able to help you. Or you can go to www.freetranslation.com it might help you get the idea. It is not always correct. Let me know if I can help.

Thanks for the answers and for the nice offer Nicolette.
I normally don`t have to much probles with english books, in fact i read a lot of them but this book is very scientific i think.
http://www.dragondoor.com/nutrition/ --> for those who don`t know the book, here you can read something about the it.

I think think the problem ist you can find very good books about training (excuting the exercieses in a right manner, learning what others did and why and so on). Often times you know the Author (for example the books from the oldtimers, or the weightlifting book published by tommy kono or Dinosaur Training by brooks kubik). In such cases you know what you get and you know that you will learn something. But when it comes to a good diet for a weightlifter or strongman you can learn a lot out of forums or by directly asking the athlets but good books a very very rare...

@ Nicolette
I live near Munich (Bavaria) your german is still good I understood what you meant.

Sie sind sehr gütig. Ich weiß, dass mein Deutsch arbeiten muss. Ich dont Gebrauch es mehr. I lived in Giessen for three years and traveled throughout Europe. I had a lot of fun. Infact I joined the military while I was living in Europe. As far as the book goes. I don't of that one. I have found some decent books. I generally dont go strictly by books. No matter what you believe in you can find some book to back you up. I have read about alot of diets from atkins to eating for your blood type. I think you will get better advice on here and listening to your body. It depends on your goals. :I:
