Thats right, a plane pull. A local charity organization is hosting a plane pull. Its a Boeing 727 that weighs 150,000lbs. They want 20 man teams to pull it 12'. Fastest to 12' wins. As State Chair I've also been asked to put on a strongman demonstration as well. I talked with Willie about it and he's cool with them promoting it as an NAS Strongman Exhibition. I'm planning on doing some stones, log, tire, roll up a couple of frying pans, rip a few decks of cards, just some different stuff to get the crowd going. As a topper, I told the promoter that I would put 4 guys on the plane and see if we could beat the fastest time of any of their 20 man teams. Should be alot of fun! Its free to the public, but its $1,000 a team. That works out to $50 a head on the 20 man team. If you're around Baton Rouge and you want to get in on this with us, let me know. I still have room on the team I'm putting together. The event is going to be held at the Baton Rouge Airport on Oct 4th. We will have training sessions before hand, so if you want to get in on it make sure you're able to make at least a couple of the training sessions as well. If we're representing NAS we're in it to win!
