Hi, names Matt. I'm new to strongman. I'm only 5'8" and 155lbs. so i'm pretty scrappy, but ever since i flipped my first 650lbs tire, i've been hooked. Any advice would be appreciated, i need all the help i can get if i'm ever going to compete at my size. I've managed to gain 15lbs in the past 3 months, so i need help there too, if i'm to keep my wieght on the rise. My goal is 170. Again any advice is welcome, and i'm damned proud to be here. Thanks

Personally, my advice to you would be....
squat
eat
sleep
deadlift
eat
sleep
...and repeat :D

BTW, I see you're from WA. We're you at the Jesse Marunde Invitational this year?

KITSAP CREW REPRESENTIN!!! Clark works with me and I can honestly say for a smaller guy he understands that good eatin is essential, and is not one to turn down food! So he's already on the right track.

The drum player for my old band was named Matt Clark. He's probably 6' 4" and 280lbs though.
