I've heard a lot of good things about this...i thought about buying it for my mom because she has recently started working back out and eating healthy. But anyone know of anybody that has tried it or has tried it themselves? It doesn't seem like the usually fly by night gimmick..thanks

don't buy it. waste of money for a program that is basically just bodyweight exercises. i'm sure you can find the program written out, or on bit torrent or something.

For that matter, just YouTube crossfit workouts. I think that if your mom can handle all of the work in P90x that she might be just as well off giving crossfit (or something close to it) a go. None of the weight work in CF is close to a maximal effort, so it would just depend on her to learn some basic moves (and let's face it, form is obviously not of major concern so much as the work, so long as she doesn't hurt herself a little slop would be overlooked in CF).

its just a version of crossfit anyway. But for someone at home with ZERO workout knowledge, not too terrible for what it is for.
