And people have once again forgotten how to drive in the snow in this state.

At one point yesterday, Brown County police were out on 50+ calls for weather-related accidents. All at once!

Brown County is where Green Bay is...where the Packers play. Maybe that would explain some of the retardedness!!

Don't worry guys. I'm not gonna start a bunch of meaningless "off topic" threads and make desperate attempts to keep them going. :BB:
Just offering some readin' material.

Yeah...just thought it was funny watching the news this morning and seeing how many people got into low-speed fender benders. It happens every year up here. The first snow shows up, and people forgot how to drive in it, like it's the first time we ever got snow in WI!!! Just ranting...that's all.

Shawn,
Kidding about what? The 50+ accidents all in one county? No sir! It was on the news this morning.

My mistake... I thought you said "I'm gonna start a bunch of meaningless "off topic" threads and make desperate attempts to keep them going." I didn't see the "I'm NOT gonna..."

We had some amazing weather down here as well - tornado on Saturday and snow on Tues and Wed. They showed videos of people cleaning up from the tornado damage in 4 inches of snow!

Can't wait till we get Winter.

People here drive at 1/4 speed if it looks like rain. Heaven forbid we ever got snow!!!!

High of 24F and a wind-chill factor of 2F here in WI. And it isn't even Thanksgiving yet! I guess ice fishing will start early this year!

Weather from around the world is interesting generally and also 'cos it affects how people eat and train.

In Ireland: winter doesn't exist, summer doesn't exist...it's a perpetual spring or autumn and the only difference is daylight:16-22 hours from June to September and down to as low as 6 hours from December to March.

Oh, and perpetual grey skies.
