Jesse - I forgot to tell you when Jon, Van and Jeff were to train this past week - Jeff did loaded the 260 - 300 - 330 - 360 - 380 stones in one motion.....Man - I have never seen that before - in person. It was crazy - the amount of exposive power he has from the bottom is insane!.....IMPRESSIVE.

If he's not he's close.....He's pretty big - strong as hell too!...still got that speed too.....he cleaned the 305 axle straight up from the bottom - that takes grip and speed....and with very little sleep...like 2 hours in the back seat of his truck.

I'm sure he can do much more than 305... I remember when I met him. he was like 270...

Oh yea - he had a lot more left in him......It was just impressive how fast he cleaned it...

He was like.....what 280 or so at last years NASS Nationals in Myrtle Beach - that was right after he got back from Worlds.

Great guy also - was glad he came - glad I got to train with him....

Mike, it was awesome training with you. Definitely worth the 24 hours of driving ;)
Oh, and if we are talking about speed, big Mike is the definition of it on that god-aweful 830 lbs "arch yoke"!!!!!!!!!!! He absolutely crushed every one :eek:





P.S. only 333 today

you're telling me. I got smoked on a stone carry in KC. My low back and glutes blew up untill I fell. My hold on the rock was solid, but my legs wouldn't go. I was only 315 though, but that's the heaviest I've ever carried anything at.

Jesse,

Don't let him sand bag you - you picked up our 370 keg from the ground and carried it like an H-stone.....easy.

He's the real deal that's for sure!.....not that I needed to tell you that.

Training with him and Jon - I felt like a puppy trying to hang with the big dogs!

I wore that shirt training on Thursday - Van and Jon both made fun of it.....

I told them this is a well discussed subject......Van said it was my "body builder" shirt.....hahahahaha

Pretty sure I dont have a 'Outfit" I normally go for the worst matching stuff I can find. I am thinking after the meet we should have a posedown,since Ive been drinking milk lately, just wanted to give you fair warning, so youll have a week to shave you fur off.
