Congrats to all you guys for a very well done contest. It was a great contest to be involved in, well run, a lot of fun and a bunch of great guys to hang out with. Van and Jon also did a great job of keeping everyone motivated and intense, it's great to see the higher level guys so involved with the sport on all levels.
Congratulations again to Travis on his first pro win and Josh on his pro card. Oh yeah and also to Kevin Nee for one hell of a job. Is that kid made of titanium or what?

Steve don't sweat it, that was a very mobile contest...I will even go so far as to say many top pros like Philippi, Gogola...would have placed lower, there were no real static events there.....all movement. You turned in a fine performance at only your second real show. Mastering those events takes time, don't forget that Big Van was getting beaten good in NASS shows in the early part of 2004...and look where he wound up!

I'm not really sweating it or disapponted in myself as an athlete or strongman, I'm just pissed at myself for knowing there was a husefeld stone carry at the contest and not practicing it at all. Should have gotten off my lazy ass and procured myself a stone whatever the cost, but I didn't so I paid the price. Still a great contest to be involved with though, win or lose.

I'm still amazed (pissed) at how dominant you were on the log press- Freak.
Nice job to all. Kevin was VERY impressive and we need to watch out for him because he is going to raise the bar for young athletes in this sport.
I am not sure if Jesse and I could have been any closer the whole day. The difference between 1st and 2nd was just a few seconds in any event!
