I finally got the video! I'm putting it at #1 on my favorite DVD's list. Non stop lifting throughout the video. What little talking Brad does is brief but also clear and understandable. I've always been a huge fan of Brad's training methods, and brad is also my all time favorite powerlifter. Seeing him rip into some monster lifts has me all bent our of shape. I shouldn't have watched the video today... I deadlift tomorow. Now I have to sit and fidget for 24 hours.
Brad does a 955 rack deadlift, double overhand strapless grip naturally. Romanian deadlifts 660x6. Powercleans 352 like nothing, with great technique. High bar, olympic style backsqats 705x2. Front squats 485x5x5. And you get to see about a dozen of his more than 40 competition deadlifts in excess of 800 pounds. Come on man, for my money it doesn't get much better!
Also on the video Wade lifts the Inch DB and two Blobs like plastic toys...

Good stuff, Jesse. My deadlift and overall strength have been skyrocketing since buying the vid. Watching Brad lift gets me pumped up. How about you put together a few event days and some of your sick overhead's I'll pre-order a few.

I also like Magnus strongest arms, Viking power, bulgarian training hall and Jouko's video. I think Brads was definitely the most informative but I really wish all the videos would go more into specific technique instruction as well. I've watched Brads about 20 times already.

Jesse is absolutely right. The video is fantastic. Crazy strength, he does all the lifts Jesse mentioned with no belt or wraps, only a pair of Rehband knee sleeves. It is worth the price alone just to see someone hook grip a nearly 1000lb rack deadlift.

I was looking at another site (only once I swear-lol) where they trade the vid's and copy them for each other. THAT JUST PISSES ME OFF!!!! Now don't get me wrong I definitely am a fan of saving money and sometimes the vids are a little pricey BUT that's just because of the small prodution volume. These guys don't make very much on these vids to begin with and if people keep sharing them rather than buying them no one is going to make any money! AND if no one makes any money guess what? NO ONE WILL BE MAKING ANY MORE VIDEO'S! There is few enough strongman and powerlifting videos as it is. I say if you want to enjoy these pay the full price. If there starts to be a bit more money in them more people will be making them. Wouldn't that be nice?
Sorry for the rant,
-Mike

I was one of the spotters when Brad competed in the Pan-american games a couple years back and let me say....FREAK!! He squated mid 8's pretty deep, got a high 5 bench, and successfully deadlift 832, then went for 850 and tore his hamstring. He's the biggest man i've ever seen in person and was very nice when i talked to him backstage as he iced his hamstring after the injury.
I have large hands, and shaking his hand was almost comical how much bigger his was than mine. I'm definitely ordering his new video.

Patrick bought this vid for me for my b-day. I thought that it was kinda shitty quality(sound wise) but it had some great routines and advice in it.

This is what I like about training videos. It is about being in the "trenches", so to speak.
I have the WestSide Squat workout and it is very "raw".

Here is a good article that I enjoyed on his deadlift training.

And also,
Pay close attention to what he does and how he does things in the video...... you can learn alot from a 2 time IPF champ with the tv on mute.
My other favorite video is Capt Kirk's video. It is just video of training footage made with a home camera. I watch it before every squat workout. After 1000lbs x 2 deep squat @ a bodyweight of 275lbs), kirk yells at the spotters, "I WANNA HOLD IT" and does for about a minute before he racks it. Great stuff anf a must see.
My other favorite quote from the video: Kirk says to his training partner, "you hear that door slam, gravity just left thr room." One intense dude.

Dave, i know what you are talking about, i'm 6'4 and have decent size hands. i compared hand sizes with Wade and Brad at the olympia expo and it wasn't even close.
I have seen many powerlifting videos and must say Brad's is one of the best. And you can't beat the price.
