Ok I am not a powerlifter so I was hoping that some of you guys out there could answer a couple of questions for me.

1. How do they score an athletes performance? I know that there is some formula and was wondering what it was.

and

2. How well do you think a 17 year old that weighs 130lbs would do if he had a total of 910lbs? There is this one kid at my school who is a FREAK! He has a 185lb bench, 340lb squat and a 385lb dl. Not to mention he is like 3ft tall (ok about 5'3"-5'6").

Judging by this, I think he'd do pretty well. His total is just over 100lbs less then the WR, and he's at the bottom of the age class (he still has time to get even stronger and break the records).

Where's he planning on competing?

Good luck! :mag:

He is not, I dont think he knew he was that strong, just been lifting for wrestling and when I told him how much stronger than me he was he didnt believe me, I would need like 1750 to beat him. He said that he definately wanted to compete in a strongman contest if I put one on. I am mainly just satisfying my curiosity.
