There is a "Fitness" equiment store about 15 - 20 miles from my house, they advertise that they cary used bars and plates along with the fitness equpment. I was out shopping in that part of the town today and thought I would stop in and see if they had any good deals to point my wife at for x-mas. They had a CAP black bar that was used, because it had been stored wrong and had some surface rust (all of which wiped of when I got home) other than that it was in perfect shape, got it for $35 :D . Then told the wife thank you for the present.
BTW until today I had been using a 1" cold rolled steel bar with 2" adapter sleeves. Having a real bar is sweet, it feels like cheating when cleaning or deadlifting with it.
Any way thanks for listing, my wife didn't understand how excited I was.
