First Time Post

I've been reading this board for a while now and have finally decided to post. I've been competing in strongman for about 3 years now and have had some decent showings. I started while living in San Diego, competing in a couple of the CA shows and nationals. I moved to New Mexico just about 2 years ago and have competed here, CO, TX, IA, UT, and a couple others that escape me.

I've met a bunch of people from the board at various contests and have always been impressed by how helpful, encouraging and fun the other athletes can be. While I have no delusions of turning pro, thanks to my little girlie grip, I plan to continue to compete as long as the body will let me!

Look forward to seeing some of you in San Diego.

Ty good to see you're on here now. How have u been doing since nationals? training going good?

Thanks for the welcome. Training has been going well, always seem to be fighting nagging injuries like everyone else, but still setting PR's regularly which is encouraging. Planning to do California's Strongest Man on Dec. 6th, it should be a good battle from the competitors that are planning to show up. I think I owe Jason and Tom some payback for beating me at Nationals. John, after beating me in Iowa and winning nationals I don't think I'll get that chance with you!
