Hi all, My name is Steve Ryan, I am Mike Westerlings training partner. Im a freshmen in College now and have been training with Mike since last April. I have only competed in two contest (RI 1st place, and Mass States) but hope to be posting a log to help motivate myself to do really well in my upcomming contests this summer.

I was wondering when you'd post. Steve's going to be awesome. He's already lapping the 325 and he hasn't even gone through puberty yet!

When i won Rhode Island i weighed around 245-250 yet as of late i have lost alot of weight(fat) to help my speed in football (im around 235 now) . Luckily the weight i lost hasnt had that much of a negative impact on my lifts. Friday i squated 500x1 very very easy down to a milk crate and two plates. My goal for 5 months from now is a 600x1 squat 315x3 overhead press (275 now) and to be able to load the 335 stone Mike has to a 55 inch platform. Trust me i have a ton of other goals but i dont want everyone to need cliffe notes to read my post lol
