Got dragged to Barnes and Noble last night and remembered that someone mentioned that Pondstone would be in Muscle mag either this month or next..
Great 6 page article on Poundstone, Its all Q&A's about training, diet etc etc.. Derek gave alot of great detailed answers. Definitely a good read!

My brother said he's (Poundstone) got an article in the November issue of Planet Muscle. I know (at least around here) you can only get Planet Muscle at Borders.

Thanks for posting the info up Matt. The article and photo's came out great. I liked how the author made the article into a simple Q&A. I dont think the writer was expecting such long winded answers but quoting an athlete gets there passion for their sport and there personality across much better. A 30 minute interview turned into closs to 90 minutes by the time we were done!!

I just watched the Viper log 400lb press, and I think the next interview needs to address how Derek turned his pressing from a self proclaimed "weakness" to being one of the best presses out there, especially when it comes to random objects (blocks, etc)
Also, is "muscle mag" the name of the magazine? I want to tell my sister to pick this up for me when she goes into work, but if I can't give her the name there is no way she is looking through them.

Incredible article!! This is a must have! Probably the best Strongman article in a newstand magazine. You can't help but feel proud for Derek after reading this and happy for how well he represents the athletes and the sport.
Congrats Derek!
