Marilyn and I were fortunate to have Jim Glassman come to train with us last weekend.
Let me tell you Jim is one big strong, strongman!
Jim did a 900+ Yoke and "cleaned" my 335 stone so damn high I was worried about my roof! I guess I better make a 400 for his next visit. :F:
We also hit some log work. Jim did sets and reps with my 13" log at 340 making it look EASY! Not too bad for the first time touching a log since a pec tear...
I'll try and get some pics up soon. (Technical difficulties)
Thanks again to Jim for the tip on cleaning the big log. It's going up MUCH easier.

Good going Jim. Once he got that pec healed, no log has a prayer against him.

thanks for the hospitality guys. It was sure great to work off some turkey with some good training. ALthough I must admit it just made me more hungry so I went home and stuffed my face some.
You'll have to post the pic when you get a chance.
See you guys for Christmas
Jim

Yo Jim,
I saw you at the Los Angeles event and you looked a naturally fit guy. Pity about the pec though because you were doing really well up til then :(
Hope you're back on all cylinders real soon! :KD:

My wife is normally a REALLY good judge of character (I guess I slipped by her) and she still talks about that really nice guy from the motel lobby in St. Louis that one year.
Impressive man. I'd like to hear all about what you have been donig for rehab...

Did Jim mention that a big gut will help on the log clean? It's nice to see you finally doing well on the stones!!

Glad he is back in action....missed him last summer.
Got to keep the old guys healthy otherwise I 'll be lonely....clarify the guys that got their start in the last century, when guys like Travis,Ostland and Knee were still in JR High or at best High school.....
Maybe a trip back east soon????

Wow, I've been called a lot of things..... naturally fit has never been one of them. You are officially on my christmas card list buddy.
And yes, Travis is correct. The extra midsection does seem to make the stones easier. I never thought I'd tear a pec and improve my stones but so far so good.
Thanks for all the well wishes; I look forward to seeing everyone next season.
