HUGE HUGE Tractor Tires. Holy Crap!

How much do you guys think those weigh? Oh man, I'd love to get ahold of one of those.

I watched a show on quarries one time and the narrator said these truck tires are over 12ft high, 5ft thick, and weigh over 5 tons (probably with the rims inside). It would take all of us on this board to flip that tire I think.

Dan, I wish you could have been here the day I went to check out some giant tires that were offered to me - 3' thick, 9' tall, and between 1800-2500lbs. You would have needed to change your pants!

The place I go to get my tires sells these giant quarry tires too and they are really, really impressive looking. I think I would like to take one to the top of the Sandia Peak (10,000ft above sea level) and roll it down. hehehe

There is a stone quarry a little ways behind my house where I went asking for tires once.They said the smallest they had were probably 1500-2000lbs,and then directed me towards those beasts.Needless to say I didnt bring a tire home that day

There is one of those huge beasts sitting behind the les schwab here in town and you have to look up to see the top, I an wondering who set it upright :D

Have you hit up all the tire stores around? Usualy they have at least 5-10 big ones hiding in the back.
