right on Jarrod! Didn't know you were a lurker, pleasant surprise having you join up. U know you're the only person from MSU that I've bumped into since I was last in Bozeman wih the exception of Tuds.

Guys, Jarrod was one of the monsters that I was introduced to when I was getting scouted by MSU. what were you then like 300? You came in as a 230 pound full back right? ended up at d-tackle at like 315. Little did I know as a 230 pound tight end that I'd be joining you at tackle at 286 two years later... Cafeteria food man. I nearly killed myself eating so much.

We should be coming back to Boise this year if we can all talk Corey into putting on another show. I sure hope you decide to compete.

Are you still a strength and cond. coach? You used to be at BSU, what do you do now? I only ask because being s strength and cond. coach would be a like a dream job for me.

Oh, and welcome to the board.

Thanks for the wlecome jesse! I was 230 pounds last summer, tried getting ripped but felt small. Sooo I'm back up to 300 again! I was about 285 when I saw you last. As far as competing, I want to bad!!! I just have to start traing for it. I know how to train top level athletes, but when it comes sto strongman I'm an amature! I need some advise!!!

patrick w. - being a srength coach is not that hard! I got started cause my old strength coach called back to MSU looking for a GA. It might take some time to get started, but if it's something you love go talk with your local college strength coach.

As far as me workin, I walked away from it a few years ago because I wanted to raise my own kids. My wife owns a mortgage company here in Boise, so it was the smartest decision for me. Plus she makes way more money than I ever could!

I do miss training teams like football, but I am still good friends with my old boss and the coaching staff. So I still get free stuff! Anyway like I said before this forum rocks!!!
