Daily food intake,
I was thinking about my food intake today and how could I get the best results from what I eat. For instance should I eat for what I am going to do the next day. Example: I am training for speed and not max . weight, is there a diet that will give the best results, and visa versa? I know that eating the correct amount of protien according to your body weight is essential for developing strength.
Are there any nutrionists here?

If you're working out in the morning, CARB UP AT NIGHT! And I don't mean cookies and cake. I'm talking about brown rice, squash, sweet potatoes, oats, etc.

Eat the same all the time and keep your body on routine, nutrition-wise. Try to keep your carb intake stable throughout the entire day, as well as keeping your protein high. If you're looking to get bigger, eat 250-300 calories a day more than your body would require to maintain, and no more. I seriously wouldn't worry about carbing up like crazy for your training session; rather, carb up when contest time comes.
Paul has it right, too, regarding keeping your carbs clean. Vegetables, brown rice, whole grains, etc.

Eat a bunch no matter what day it is.
I feel the most strong if I eat a Pizza for lunch. I usually will wind up working out at 5 o clock.

I don't know how anyone can eat lots of pizza. If I eat more than 3 slices, I am in some mad pain the next day... there is just too much junk in there or my stomach to handle.

I don't know Josh. It is one of those "tony's" pizzas they have at the grocery store. I always get the meat lovers kind. It gives me power. And tell you the truth, this brand really isn't too greasy, you should give it a try.
