I've been searching for a while now, but I can't seem to find cheap bumper plates. The ones that I have come across on ebay have rediculous shipping rates. I know there are a lot of guys on here from Wisconsin, so if any of you know of any schools or gyms looking to sell their bumpers let me know. I'd be willing to drive anywhere in Wisconsin to get them. Appreciate it, thanks.

This one on e-bay isn't too bad (similar to the PENDLAY price).

EDIT: There's always the option of redneck bumpers (tires on rims).

Thanks man, those are some pretty good prices being that they include shipping. So how did they work for you? Would it be ok if I were to drop them from over my head? They look pretty good, so it looks like im gonna put in my order.

Those are pretty cheap, except for the fact that they want 150.00 to ship them!!!

I plan on getting some redneck bumpers soon also.

I've never used them but I've stared at them at work and dreamt about having them...and the price is about the cheapest I have seen anywhere.

I bought mine about 6+ months ago and the bar and bumpers are great. Not quite as much bounce as York bumpers, but I'm not looking to dribble the weights so I doubt that matters. For a dirt cheap but very reliable entry into bumper plates I doubt you can beat this (new).

How many lbs are you looking for? And what kind of money are you trying to spend?

Pendlay has the best prices unless you find someone selling used plates on craiglist.

Since this thread was posted, Pendlay's prices for bumpers has skyrocked. They use to offer some really great deals like 500 pounds of bumpers for $600 shipped. Now it looks like they have nothing even remoting resembling that deal.

Any other great companies out there for AFFORDABLE bumpers? Or do the words "affordable" and "bumper plates" just not go together?

Huh? I just went there and they're selling 300lbs set for $489! Sorry, but that's actually a pretty darn good price considering it appears to still be FREE SHIPPING!
