I was wondering, do you have to be a teen on the date of the teen nats or when you qualify?
I will be turning 20 on april 19, and there are a couple of meets in the area before then, but I think that even if I placed in the teen category and qualified for teen nats in these then I wouldn't be able to go as I'd be 20 by then.
How exactly does this work?

They do. It's called the adult division.

I'm 22. I have no chance of competing in the teens. How do you think I feel lol. When I compete in powerlifting I'm gonna be a 242 at the lowest and maybe even a 275. I'm gonna get slaughtered lol. But that doesn't matter. As long as I'm hitting PRs. Also, in Canada I think there's like a 231 and below division and everyone else above said weight in strongman. Besides, you can't have 'slaughter' without 'laughter'.

It's the same in the US. In some of the lower competitions there are several weight divisions, but once you get higher up they just have 231 and below and HW.

Teen Nats won't be till mid summer. They haven't announced a date yet. I am trying to figure out how I am going to qualify, its really hard to make it to most competitions. The one I could make in March is the same day as a PL meet I'm already commited to.The one in May is graduation weekend, the one in June is the weekend I'm registering for college. ???????????????????????????????????

Ehhh I am going to need Connor's special diet plan, I lost 5 lbs to 250 with a stomach virus and gained it all back with Wendy's and Chinese food lol It maybe easier for me to go to 265 on the brim ROFL although I doubt that is the right way to go
