I have the knee sleeves... and IMO there is NO comparison. For me.. its something about that Neoprene that keeps me feeling good. Traps heat better, maybe?
I love APT and buy ALL of my stuff there but I will never wear any other sleeve than the original blues.

I do all my training in their OLD single ply red/black ones. I have some of their red/black double ply (at the bottom of that page) and they are strong. I can say that they would add some weight to your lifts. From my understanding, the black/white ones are even stronger.
I prefer them for training because they cover A LOT more of the arm. Lower on the forearm and higher up on the bicep.

I have them, Jay, and like them pretty good, especially for the price. They don't warm your joints quite as well as neoprene sleeves, but they do give you a good bit of support and compression.

I have the convicts but not the Rehbands. I like them for most stuff, but not for farmers. I wore them once for heavy farmers (well, heavy for me anyway) and got my thumbs hooked on the sleeves on the pick and nearly didn't get the weight up.
Then again, if you hadn't chickened out and made up some excuse about standby flights or something, you'd have seen that one in person. :B:

I don't think that there is a better option out there for elbow sleeves.
For the knees though the convicts are a bit thick - I would go with the "heavy duty" (red with black strips) to make sure that you maintain mobility.

I pull my red and black APTs over my rehbands for heavy squats, farmers, and yoke.I like them alot.I usually keep my rehbands on with them because I like how warm the rehbands keep my knees. They are great on their own though. Its like wearing a cloth ace knee sleeve, only ALOT thicker, and more support.

How do the APT Elbow Sleeves compare to the Inzer Elbow Sleeves? Has anyone used both?

Well, the old blue rehband sleeves and compression shorts are no longer manufactured, correct? Jackly's gym only has one kind of blue sleeve. Why did they stop producing the blue shorts and elbow/knee sleeves?

Jackal's carries the blue original knee sleeves, the new style knee, elbow, etc., and soon the brand new Strongman line developed in with input from the Samuellsson brothers.
The original sleeves were discontinued 2 years ago.
Jackal's purchased all available fabric worldwide and have an exclusive to sell the original knee sleeves.
The new strongman line will replace the blue sleeves as they are eventually run out.
The APT elbows look like a good product and another piece of equipment to have in the gym bag.

Looking forward to seeing the new Strongman Line of products. Any idea on the pricing? Hopefully it will be comperable to the original blue equipment.

Arent the APT elbow sleeves illegal in NAS? I was told 2 years ago at a show that they were...even though they were the single thickness and i dont think they help my lifts at all other than keeping my elbows warm.

I would think it's up to the promoter.

I dont understand this...it seems like there is/should be universal rules if you're under the NAS umbrella. I've done a contest before where I was told by the promoter that the sleeves were legal, and that briefs/suits would be allowed on a car DL. I get there and the guy that was brought in later as a co-promoter (and a big RAW advocate/whatever), told us day of the show we were not allowed anything other than belt and straps. NAS allows suit/briefs, etc but then each show has its own stuff. It's very discouraging to me as a competitor..especially at this particular show as I was dealing with a hamstring issue and a back issue and the wearing the briefs was about the only way I could deadlift leading up to it.
Long story short...why is it up to each promoter to decide rules and there isnt one set if your a NAS contest?

You should ask that question at the source:
