How do I edit my videos?

I finally got some pretty cool videos that I want to put together. So how do I edit them? I want to add 5 videos into one and edit out the parts that are useless like when im standing around. I also want to add music and have words pop up at certain times. For instance I have a deadlift video and I want to be able to have the number pop up, just before the lift.


My computer has Windows XP. Can I use this or will I have to download something online. Thanks guys.

You hsould have windows moviemaker which is really simple to use. Just look in your program menu.

I use pinnacle studio 12, but I do A LOT of video work.

The program that comes with XP seems to be more than enough for most people!
