Tryig to watch videos on youtube and this is what pop's up:
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player (http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer/).
Youtube worked fine as of last night... Im not sure if someone using my computer accidently turned a flash player (or something like that) off or what? I have attempted to download the "latest flash player" from the link above several times.... Everytime i download it, it states that it had successfully downloaded to my laptop but yutube continues to not work? Anyone know how to fix this?
Idk how to even find the java script to see if it is turned off...
PLEASE HELP!

2 things I would try depending on browser.
IE, make sure you're not running in (No Add-Ons) mode. Clear internet cache (Tools>Delete Browsing History) and/or reset everything to defaults (Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Tab>Reset).
FF, Clear Private Data (Tools>Clear Private Data) I'm not sure if FF has a reset option.
If all else fails reinstall said browser, quick and easy.

Matt, I had the same problem. Are you running IE? I went through my HP tech support and they basically told me that IE becomes un-compatible with flash player. I had to download Firefox and it has worked fine since. Try that and see if it works.

what is firefox exactly? Just another way to view navigate the internet similar to internet explorer? Is it free?

It's a magical internet browser that makes all videos 3-D with surround sound and you can surf without using the keyboard...just tell it what you want to see.
OK, seriously, it's an internet browser by Mozilla similar to MS Internet Explorer. I'll send you a copy for cheap. Just send $30 and I'll drop it off at TPS for you. :FF:

firefox is defintely the better choice...switched over from IE, never went back. far fewer bugges/crashes
