hey gang i have finally decided to start a training journal .. I find it motivating to look what others are doing so I thought I would share my path with others so they may get inspired..

so it starts tomorrow.. I am 239 lb and going down..My goals are simple.. look number 10 is already done and number 3 was done long ago..

10) start a training log here on the site..
9) get to 230 lb and then stay there while getting leaner and stronger....
8) win more prize money than last season - 150.00 - 161.40 cdn!
7) do a highland games event
6) hit a 600 DL a 300 log and 330 stone to 54"
5) win the LW's at Washington State strongest man ( with a victory over Sarge which should be a goal in itself!)
4) promote my own show here in Victoria June 3rd 2006
3) continue to be the best looking man in strongman not named Jesse Marunde.
2) win the Canadian 105 KG nationals
and...if the planets all line up right on one day
1) win my LW pro card..

so follow along and add input as you see fit.. Thanks

Standard DL's - really focusing on ass down and smooth pulls

135 x 8, 225 x 5, 315 x 5, 405 x 5, 455 x 5, 495 x 1 - pretty smooth

Front squats to 12" box- full sit - Raw

135 X 3 , 185 x 3, 225 x 3, 275 x 3, 315 x 3 - good

Bar curls

95 x 8, 115 x 6

2&3/8 " axle holds

205 x 20 sec easy, 255 x 8.90 sec (PR)


home to eat.. and raedy to kick ass on Sunday..

Nice work my Friend... I used to tell people I am Just like Jamie Templeman only with a better Deadlift.... well you know the rest! hahaha
I love havin you post your workouts... very motivating!

Kinda cold out and had a bunch of no-shows

Tire 600 lb tire 60 ft - 8 flips in 35.68

Farmer's turn at 60 ft

250's for 105 ft in 26 sec (PR) - too slow in turn

yoke

600l lb - 25 ft .. new PR - can't find spot on back..

finished with sandbag rows 105 lb bag x 12 ..wow..

A good day

tried 305 clean - too heavy

Wednesday jan 18th,,

Had my first session with a weight lifting coach tonight. O lifting is cool

Hang cleans (worked on form)

60 Kg x 3, 70 x 3, 80 x 3, 90 x 3

hang snatches

60 x 3, 60 x 3

thats it.. real cool and i'll do this every second week.

Thursday Jan 19th Deads - felt dead ..have a sinus infection on the go.. :(

bod +75 for 43.75 sec

WOW.. nice 265 axle! I am not worthy! You rock. That session with the o=lifting coach helped you alot..huh?
