My guess is that most of you guys already know how to make stones, but I figured that I'd add this to the database.

Perhaps it can be of help to someone.

If you have any extra tips or suggestions about making stones, I'd be cool if you added it to this post.

I saw this on Facebook earlier and immediately had to add it to my favorites on Youtube. Even though it's been discussed here before, I need to send you a major thank you for an actual visual aid.

I'll definitely be referring to your video in the future once I start making stones. Thanks again Elliott

Mike, where are you training this weekend? I'm thinking about heading out to Chandler's.

I will definitely go there. Do you have the address? I wasn't able to train last saturday due to being sick and having to work at the time the guys were training.

How much did the big stone end up weighing?

Jason,

I don't know.

My scale wouldn't go higher than 350, so I gotta get on that can weigh it for me.

My guess is around 380ish.

3 questions:

1) How much weight loss happens during the curing process (on average)?

2) It would seem to me that with anything over 300 lbs that the bead on the tire would leave a ring indentation in the cured stone - is that accurate?

3) Do you seal your stones? Why/why not?

Thanks,
B-
