Anybody know of any other places besides Elite FTS to buy a prowler? I'm wondering if another company has started making a knock off that is cheaper? Elite has great stuff but their prices are unreasonable.

I think this thing is pretty cool:

I've got a prowler too.

Tim,

I bought a Prowler from a guy here in PA off ebay. It cost me $300 and is every bit as good if not better than Elite's Prowler. His name is Ken. He lives in Dillsburg, PA. Here is his e-mail address: KATAKENM@COMCAST.NET. He has several different Prowler designs that he is working on. Also, his ebay name is katakenm.

Doesnt Beninga from Pitbull make something similar to a prowler?

Yes, we got one from Alan at Pitbull. It is identical to the prowler and alot less money.
He has two versions of it.

Spud sells one as well

http://www.southcarolinabarbell.com/salestemplate/newhome.asp?Category=8I can vouch for Spuds. It's pretty stout. I believe Scott Prosek from Bad Attitude Gym makes them. You can email him at strengthandpowerequipment@gmail.com

What is the height of the small bottom "push bar" from the ground? And how long/wide of a triangle is the prowler bade? Thanks in advance for the help!

BFS has one (http://www.biggerfasterstronger.com/details.asp?pID=985&category=0&subcategory=0&size=0&search=sled&page=). Cheaper and has loner legs which supposedly reduces the wear on the runners.

The Prowler is a very simple design, if your on a budget you might want to look at building or having one built for you. Not a lot of steel goes into it, some pipe, plate, and square tubing.
