World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowksi Officially Set to Fight Marcin Najman at KSW 12

KSW officially announced on Tuesday that five-time World’s Strongest Man champion Mariusz Pudzianowski will be making his MMA debut against Marcin Najman at KSW 12 on December 11 in Warsaw, Poland.

Pudzianowski, a fourth kyu green belt in Kyokushin Karate and former amateur boxer, retired from the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2008.

His opponent Nacjman, a pro boxer, will also be making his debut in mixed martial arts.

I ran across this toady and thought it was a little funny. Now this article was posted on September 16, 2009 - and for those of you that read the IronMind article about Mariusz speaking up, (http://www.ironmind.com/ironmind/opencms/Articles/2009/Sep/5X_Worldxs_Strongest_Man_Mariusz_Pudzianowski_I_Li ke_to_Fight.html), you'll remember that that article was posted on September 10, 2009. So it sounds like PRO MMA NEWS didn't get the memo... lol So no big deal, just thought it was funny.

And I just love how big Pudz looks next to that guy. I'm sure this Marcin Najman isn't a real small guy, but standing next to him... lol

Jeez....look at the difference in leg size. I almost feel bad for that dude, hope Pudzian doesn't land a square jaw shot or he'll be eating through a straw for a few weeks.

just imagine being put in a head lock by Pudzian, wow tht would suck, can't wait to see the results, does anyone know where it might be aired?

It's in Heat 5 Part 1.

Vasyl was so aggressive! The guy takes your head, shouts etc...

Personnally I preferred round 1: perfect throwing. Mariusz completely into the circle, Vasyl totally out of it. Hey guys that was power, just too bad this event is soooo dangerous for the athletes.

As long as Pudzianowski can fight. My son use to beat up on guys all the time in wrestling that looked good walking around the gym but did not know how to wrestle.
