Hey guys, what's your opinion on the adistar shoe, they look nice with that thick heel for squatting and maybe pressing? but are they nice enough to justify the insane price tag I'm seeing online?

I think that ironwork III is altogether so good shoe that I wouldn't spend my money just on the looks..

I think I paid $160 for my Adistar shoes...I absolutely love them and have had them for over 4 years and they are still in good shape. I use them for all my pressing movements, olympic movments (snatch, cleans), and squats (front/back). I know the price tag seems steep, but I am extremely satisfied with the investment, and when mine eventually wear out I will be purchasing another pair. Just my opinion.

I have Adistars as well and concur that while they may be pricey, they are SO worth the investment. I've had mine for well over a year now and they are still in mint shape. The help so much with oly lifts, squats and overheads.

But if you're on a cheaper budget, I've heard Do-Win make great shoes too.
