I'm looking for videos or pics of pallet racks that are used as stone loading platforms, and I'd also like to know where you guys find the best deals on old pallet racks.

Thanks in advance,
Neuhaus

Paul-

Try your local beverage distributor like Coca-Cola or someone like them. Sometimes they will have too much racking sitting in the warehouse our out in the weather. I have seen them give it away for nothing at times...

lol, what is a pic going to show you, it is just a bunch of pallets stacked up on eachother.

Seriously, just stack them up, then take a couple of 2x4s and join them together so they don't slide around.

Check out the members media section, there is a vid of a guy from Sweden loading to a pallet rack.

Dude, you're funny! I'm not talking about "stacking pallets", I'm talking about "pallet racks". The storage racks that you find in warehouses that have pallets of stuff stacked onto them. The height is adjustable, and there is usually room on them for staggered heights if you build smaller platforms to put on them.

I know some guys use this type of set-up, so I'm looking for some pics to see how they set them up...ie, staggered heights, achored to the wall or floor, etc.

...and follow the links to his site. All his stone loading vids are done on them. Hope this helps!

lol, sorry Paul, I really thought you were talking about stacked up pallets.

A pallet rack sounds like a pretty good idea, very easily adjustable.

Pallet racks can be purchased at Menards and Home Depot if you haven't purchased them already.

Thanks for the tip.

Are you referring to the used ones? Because I think that's all we'd be able to fit into the budget right now.
