Yesterday was the start of my strongwoman training.. :) 7 weeks out from a local show in WA...started with the axle clean and jerk and got 60kgx2 next over head push pressed 135x4. Farmers was next 123 lb for about 200 feet (with turn) Followed by 10x tire flip, 308 lb.. rested then did it again...Did a conan walk (our yolk doubles as a conans carry aperatus) of 300lb x 100 ft, rested then took it another 75ft. After that I loaded my 145lb stone 2x onto 54 in plateform (Im only 62 inches) then just for fun I deadlifted on an axal 150lb x20... called it a day then we barbequed and had the best sorce of protein, GRASSLAND BEEF... Later that night I was bored so I did 300 walking lunges... Today I feel really good, no muscle soreness, just a little stiff...I am lookin forward to the increase of strength and endurance!!

woohoo! if I can make it in time and if I have the day off (cross fingers) I want to do that comp. The open weights are a little light but it would be a great training day. Do you have any idea on how many competitors will be there? Also sweet front carry! Your weights are impressive for anyone more so for a woman. How much do you weigh?

I e-mailed John Harper (nice guy!!) he said that 7 people have signed up as of yet but 35 have shown interest he also said that he is even going to break it down into weight classes. Then he said that he knows that the weights are a little light but he wants to do this before taking the show to a new level. I will be doing this comp. if I dont have to work (maybe if I do) (I can be the only strongman sponsored by a funeral home) hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Hope to see ya'll there.
P.s. any other heavies gonna be there?
damn callie! smokin workout. that's awesome! sure wish i had a training partner as tough as you.
