I was wondering how soon we would be able to buy Pitbull equipment from the website. i noticed the link but it just says coming soon. Could you give me and maybe some other potential buyers out there a little better of an idea as to when we will be able to? who makes the equipment? You? I am very interested, especially because it says the equipment will be affordable ala cheaper (in price) than other online retailers. Thanks.

I was going to make a thread asking this, but you beat me to it. So I am very interested as well.

I am waiting on a web developer to finish creating an online store. I am working with an awesome fabricator named Alan Beninga who is a member of this board. I own several peices from Alan and have competed on stuff that he made. All top notch and totally hard core.

Alan is fabricating stuff right now, and as it become available I will let you all know. We can sell stuff before the store opens via the paypal account on the bottom of the main page. Stay tuned...

Alan is a top notch fabricator. We have several of his pieces of equipment and have not been able to break them yet, haha. Props to Jesse for partnering up with him.

BTW, most of it ships out of Kansas I believe which makes it equally accessible by both coasts.

Thanks Jesse,
The prices that you've shown so far are cheaper than other online retailers by about $100 which is amazing. You guys are gonna have lots of people like myself oredering stuff. What's the gripper machine? Is it like the one on Ironmind? Is there gonna be more equipment besides the ones you listed (i.e. stone molds, thick bars, kegs)?

Man, thanks everybody for all the kind words. Here is an imagestation album I have containing some of my equipment.

I am awaiting material for any logs. I found out today it could be a few weeks. I you want one sooner I can build you one but it will cost $50.00 more to buy the material from another source. I will keep hunting in the mean time, I may find some yet.

The throwing weight is 56lbs. for $75.00.

The stone plateforms can go at $200.00.

Thanks again,

Alan

The main thing that has kept me from taking the plunge into stones has been the lack of a solid platform [not to mention a stone] and now that I see yours, I will be getting bigginer stones and your platform this summer, along with one of your logs. I am not a competitor, but stone lifting looks like too much fun to pass up, and would add great variety to my strength training :D

Very exceptional looking work!

BTW, what is the typical empty weight of the log?

The 12" logs that Allan sells are usaully around 100-110 for 5 foot bodys, and about 90lbs for 4 foot body ones, and they are as solid as can be. We use Allans stuff in every meet we put on.

Wow! Great equipment. The price for the 56# WOB implement is UNREAL! How do I go about ordering one?

Do you make any other Highland Games implements?

If this is better suited for a PM, please let me know.

What's the likelihood of getting a squat rack fabricated. Let me know, PLEASE!!!

I think Jesse wants any transaction to go through him. I'm not familiar with Highland game equipment, I'd need a pic or dimensions. Tully and I have a friend that makes hammers, we could hook you up, anything else I can make.

Mac, you want to pm me details?

I like the new avatar, by the way.

Thanks,

Alan

Alan,

You got mail Dawg!!!

Appreciate the props on the Avatar. I was taken in 04 at the Cali Pro Am. What I like to call my wake up call. It was the first time I've had my ass handed to me in any athletic endeavor. LOL!!!

Thanks for the response.

I attached a picture of a 28# weight for distance implement. Basically, the implements weigh both 28 and 56# (handle and chain included) and can be no more than 18" long measured from the top of the handle to the base of the weight.

Can you guys do something like this? It is very similar to your 56# weight over bar implement, only with a chain attached.

I'd make one for $100.00, after that I'd know how much time was in it. The price may or may not go up.
