Amateur UK Strongman Contests

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone know af anywhere I could find out about amateur strongman competitions in the South of England?

I've always said to myself that I would enter one, but can't find out any information about them.

This would be my first competition, so no referring me to compete along side Magnus and Mariusz now......

Martin, where in the south are you? I live in Dover and am organising several contests this summer.

I live in Reading, Berkshire.

Anything around there would be great, but I realise that I'll probably have to travel.

As I say, this would be my first competition, so I don't want to be competing with people far above my level.

alrite martin,
colin is the main man for putting on strongman shows in the uk. very well put together shows with great turn outs and great atmosphere.
hes comps are a must for any strongman wanting to compete.

Dont bother watching just enter.
No matter what level your at you`ll learn something.If your
competing against people they`ll remember your face & will
be able to put a name to it.
Everybody i`ve met through strongman has been amazingly freindly.
