I guess I should preface this: My knees are old. Well, older than me anyway.....

I always ice my knees after event training. Training usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. Not much rest between events.

I’m wondering if icing between events at a contest would be a good idea???? Considering you may have 30 minutes or more between events, my thinking is ice the knees for 10-20 after each event then get the Rehbands back on and get warm again before the next event.

Thoughts?

Thanks
Mick

Have you tried cryotherapy?

Why not try what you're saying on an event day and see how it works? Test it out first before you do it at a contest.

Because that would make too much sense!

Life is hard when you’re retarded. :BB:

Thanks...

Icing does a body good! I actually did this at the AZ. contest in Jan. The contest lasted 6 hours though. I iced after every event if I needed it, my knees and back. I say do what feels good!
