Hello all!!

Jesse, maybe next time we will have to do a Pro/Am show. That would be a good move! Bristol could come fight in the Hammer House Fight and you could show your strength in strongman! Awesome!

For those interested in competing in the Lancaster Strongman Challenge we have a change in weight classes. They now are:
Lightweight Mens (up to 175, up to 200 up to 231) Heavy weight Mens (up to 265, up to 300 and SHW over 300)

*Teenage Class* Teens: Light weight: 185 and under Heavy weight: 186 and up

Also,

UFC fighters Wes Sims and Mark Coleman will be hosting the Hammer House Fight the night prior to and in the same venue as our Lancaster Strongman Challenge. All Lancaster Strongman Competitors will get a complimentary ticket to the Hammer House Fight. I’ll post all info on Anvil on Monday for our Ultimate Battle-Strength Weekend.
For your convenience, we also are accepting credit cards for entry payments for the Lancaster Strongman Challenge. Please call me if interested in using a credit card. 740-808-3010
We also have the events, rules and weights posted on our web site. www.slatershardware.com. We have set this competition to give the Men’s weight classes the ability to break NAS national records or to see how close you may come. Beginners don’t let this intimidate you, we welcome you along with high school athletes too. Met-rx will be giving bags out with supplement samples and every competitor will receive a competition t-shirt. Awards will be given out to the top 3 in each class. Both the Lightweight and Heavyweight overall winners will also receive an 18” Slater Stone Mold. If you choose a larger stone mold than a trade can be negotiated. This will be a great weekend! Hope to see you there!

Thanks, Steve

Steve,
do you only sell molds or do you sell stones too?
We very badly need a 230-245, a 300, and a 360+ stone.

thanks
Steve

Steve

How fast do you need a 300? I am making molds for 300lbs poured stone (which I can make lighter with a foam center or heavier with lead) this weekend. I will be making a couple stones for me and a couple for a friend. However, I can make an extra 300lbser if you want to come get it (Des Moines, IA) - no charge (except you have to make the drive).

Shawn,

If you are making the molds, one of my players dad has already offered to poor the concrete for the stones for free. He lives in Cedar Rapids (I believe). He said he will make as many as I want. Cost wise this might benefit you and I, if you have the molds made. Let me know what you think about that.

Hey Hammer - Good to have you posting here! I am working on making the molds Saturday. I will let you know how it goes.

Steve - Your right, that is a long way to go for picking up the stones. For some reason, I was thinking you were in Illinois when I posted yestereday, but as soon as I read your post, I remembered PA (damn I must be getting old - memory is the first to go). The offer is there, but I understand if you pass on it.

Steve, I make the stones also, the mix we will be using will be using soon will be 7000psi it is pretty expensive but is worth it especially if you don’t have molds to pour a new one incase it cracks. We don't have our new custom mix in yet. I will have a 230 made for our next show it will be made out of Quikrete. It will take a rebar foam insert to make it. You should come over sometime and help me make another and I'll give you this one for the price of the Quikrete and insert. Maybe we could get in a workout. Will you be coming to Ohio with Steve McDonald in April?
