My knee sleeves are starting to smell pretty bad.
How should I wash them and is it ok to put them in the dryer?

I take a shower with my rehband shorts after meets...that seems to get them plenty clean. That's all I do to clean them.

Never wash them!
It's bad luck.

...but if you DON'T wash them, it's bad luck for your fellow competitors, or the other guys in the car pool...
Wash in cold, on gentle cycle, with just a bit of liquid detergent. Air dry, or tumble dry in dryer with NO heat.
i wash mine. no problem. sometimes i dry them, sometimes i don't. either way...i've had 'em for years and they're still holding up. if you're superstitious, febreeze works wonders :D

Dan also go's to sleep without changing his Depends :disgust: , so I wouldnt necessarlily take his advice!!!! I wash and dry mine regularly, after about two weeks of use and then getting thrown into the gym bag they get kinda funky, but with a cool sweat stain design on them!!

This is good to know. I just pulled mine out and they worked as smelling salts for me, so I guess it's time to give a good washing.

I don't get it. Why does everyone think that's a bad smell? Anyone who doesn't like the scent of a sweaty, rubbery fart is a pansy.
As a matter of fact, this thread has inspired me. Tonight, I'm going to start working on "Eau du Rehband" cologne.
Guys, have you ever had that "too fresh" feeling when you leave the gym? You know you got a good training session, but your pits aren't sweaty and you still smell like steak from lunch. What will your wife think?
Well fear no more, lads. Kramerica Industries proudly presents "eau du Rehband!" Never again will your wife accuse you of not going to the gym. With this ultra-manly scent, all you have to do is put a little squirt around you neck, pits, crotch, and knees and she'll KNOW you've been working out. In fact, she'll catch one whiff of your pulsing testosterone and ignore you completely for the rest of the night! Order yours today!
I'm sure Karl will throw in a free spray bottle with every order of knee sleeves and power pants.
Discreet ladies scent coming soon!

Reminds me of the spray-on sweat that Steve Martin used in "Lonely Guy". ha!

Mine are starting to smell just like an ammonia cap. As long as I leave them in the basement gym and promise not to bring them into the bedroom again the wife doesn't seem to mind. Plus the odor gets me fired up to train.
