Training in Colorado Springs??

My wife and I might be going to CO Springs over Memorial Day weekend, just not sure yet. I know there's a Gold's Gym that I could train at for free, but I'd like to know if there are any strongman training clubs close by.

Have you looked into what it would take to go to the Olympic Training Center to work out?? That would be pretty slick!!

I didn't know that was there! My brother-in-law who lives there is in the Air Force. I'll have to see if he could hook me up!

the olympic training center is awesome! i spent some time training here and got to see some of the 60-70 kg female lifters squat and clean and jerk more than me...thats was great fun! :LOL:

shane hammon was also there and was shocked to see him front 300kg....who the hello fronts 300kg!!

not sure if you can just get in and train there paul but its worth a tour just to watch a training session of the olifters

Yep, when I was in the Army I trained there often. I got to talk to Shane and he told me he no longer back squatted, simply because he was so strong in the back squat he no longer needed to. He still holds the IPF record.

I think the only place similar to lift is Westside, dont miss out !!!!!
