thumb and forefinger gone numb

hi guys

was doing zercher squats tonight with a 2" bar and after my second set of 3reps my thumb and forefinger when numb. will this just be a pinched nerve? how long will it take for this to go away??

You're kind of young to have carpal tunnel syndrome, so you probably just pinched your median nerve. Just your thumb and index finger right? If it involves your arm it could be higher up the line in your brachial plexus or cervical spine.

Feeling should come back in a few days, if not think about seeing a doctor.

I've lost feeling in my thumb from heavy farmers walks. Sometimes it may take 3 to 4 weeks for it to come back.
