I'll be there... I hope!!! It looks like I might have torn my meniscus at the Clovis comp. Hopefully I'll be recovered from surgery by then.

Ben,
start training for the contest now. you will do better. I entered my first contest last never touching any strongman equipment. So if you have a stone that will benefit you alot.

I will be in Indiana the same day, but I'm sending a scary man who is going to show up and dominate. It will be a battle for 2nd place once everyone sees his power. And that is all I will say about him.

I'll be in Indiana that day, kicking Dan's buttocks. Just like I did in Arizona.

Clay/Dan,
Should we call Safeway or whatever stores they have in Indiana ahead of time so they can chain down their garbage cans?? :M:
good luck

p.s. see you in NM Clay, I think we are bringing a crew of 3-5 people down.

Higa, what's up brotha. Thanks for the concern. I'm thinking it happened on the tireflip. I felt a little tweak on the first flip but I didn't really bother me until the RV pull. So I'm thinking it was either one of those events. I meet with my doc tomorrow to map out everything.

I went to the nas website to see if the online entry form for the Del Mar event has been posted. I sent an email about 1 month ago and have not heard back. Does anyone know how I can send in my entry form.

Sounds like total fun! I'll attend, but where is it? I looked at the website and couldn't find an address for where the competition was going to be at, anybody know where?

Howdy Mac, good luck with your meniscus. I thought that i had torn something in my knee about 4-5 weeks ago. It never sweld up so i just took it easy for 3 weeks (trying to keep of my legs as much as posible). I prob just strained something, and it is not as serious as what you have, but anytime i have an injury i just come back twice as strong because i get so f-bomb pist  that i couldn't train. You will be back competeing asap.
:BP:
My goal is to finish all the events (or die trying) :M: . I'm lucky to have just started personal training at 24 hour fitness and have the support of my fellow male and female trainers. I'm working with the girls on stability, flexibility, cordination, and core; with the bros I'm training on power, strength, muscle indurance, and strongman events. I'm very excited to do this test of strength, it feels like when i found out about my first wrestling tournament in highschool.
Thanks for this thread Smitty,
