Hey all. Just wondering where the best price can be found on a halfway decent lever-actuated weight belt. I always thought it looked cool to be able to just unclick it and toss it in between sets. If I can find a decent enough price I may just add one to my arsenal.

I got mine from Maximuscle.Think they have changed it slightly from when i got mine but it still uses the front lever style buckle.

I've had mine so long I don’t remember where I got it. But be careful where you "toss it between sets" The lever can/will break if it hits the concrete just right...

I must have had a moment...I never thought to look on Inzer's site for some reason. They have kick ass belts in all colors of the rainbow. Check em out if you want a nice belt. They cost around $60-70. :KD:

Be careful about those custom colors. I ordered one to be delivered 2nd day express. Two weeks later I didn't have it, in fact I had a tracking number immediately and there was still no info on it.

I called them and asked "where the hell is my belt" and they informed me that they have to make the custom color belts to order, and this takes 3-6 weeks. I told them to ship me a black one instead, and credit me back my $27 2nd day shipping charge. I at least got the black belt.

i didnt want to say something negative about inzer, but thier service is poor. i ordered my lever belt (2 day shipping) a week from christmas and got it a month later. and not to go into a lot of details, but they really gave me the run-around. now that i have it though...i would never want to replace it for any other belt.

I got my lever belt at inzer's powerlifting site. It was 2 years or so ago. No complaints i can remember. And holdsup great today. Do not think it was more than $60.

I can’t see it being worth the money. It seems more of a gimmick to me.

You can already get a buckle or lever belt tight enough you can’t breathe. So I don’t see how a ratchet is any better.

The only reason I'd never get a lever belt is because I don't always wear my belt on the same setting. And, I don't feel like digging into my tool box for a screw driver every time I want to adjust it, either. I'd prefer to be able to adjust the tightness of my belt as I go along, from one lift to the next.

I got a lever belt for X-mas last year from my training partner Corey Schaich... the best gift ever!
It is great! I lost a little around the midsection and made a slight adjustment and it was good to go. Most times when I wear a belt it is the same belt hole... this takes all of that out of it. No pulling or sinching to readjust. No 2 people trying to get you out of it... Greta belt... i wish I had gotten one years ago.

I set my Inzer up so it's fairly tight with the lever open, but really tight with the lever down.

This way I have "tight" and "tighter". It's not too tight to keep me from breathing deep when it's open, so I can use it for deadlifts.
