Yeah, thats like a sprint without weight in hand for someone of his size.

It's a misprint. It was actually 73.98 seconds.

Ok I was about to go outside and start measuring, then see if it was possible to even run that far in that time with half the weight. He must have one hell of a grip in order to hold onto that kinda weight for 73 seconds.

Anyone who can close a number 4 has a hell of a grip. But yeah, I honestly barely see it as possible. 73 seems slow though. But hey what do I know.

Don't forget, that's probably with a couple of drops and a brief rest...I'm sure he wasn't holding on to it for the entire time.

Yoke- 30 meters
Light set - 120, 140, 150, 160, 170
Heavy set- 140, 150, 160, 170, 180
both to 68"- 48" rings (much harder than platforms)
Magnus made the turn then set the implements down to stop the momentum. Then started off again. I thought the record was 53 because Muramets barely missed it at World's.
That max stone record needs to be changed also!!!!

How did they determine this record?
It seems to me the fair way would be to have it part of a competition where several athletes have a crack at the record.
